Amsterdam’s EYE Film Museum hosted a  Max Zorn exhibition and live performance for the country’s annual “Museum Night” (Museumnacht) for its cinematic evening of light and illumination. As one of the 50 participating museums in the country’s capital, its “See The Light” thematic event honed in on Zorn’s live performance of creating tape art throughout evening to an ever-moving audience topping 5,000 attendees.

Max Zorn artworks and their effortless ability to attract eyes like flies to the light was a reoccurring theme. His stacked display case of art echoed iconic stars of the past like James Dean, Audrey Hepburn and Steve McQueen. Film noir references and nostalgic settings added a perfect touch to set the cinematic tone the Eye Film museum curator envisioned.

“I felt my cinematic imagery would fit in the setting of a film museum so it was an inspiring location for storytelling,” says Zorn.
